| 论坛简介/Abstract

响应“一带一路”的发展倡议，同济大学设计创意学院和肯尼亚马查科斯大学共同发起本次以“设计智慧”为主题的中非论坛。中非两地的本土智慧反映了人类在面对客观条件和种种生活考验时的思考、应对和拼搏奋进，更体现了人类为与自然和谐地共生、共存而积极探索的创新经验。本次论坛联合中非两地的多家设计和艺术院校，通过分享从自然中汲取的本土智慧，探讨地域传统中人与自然和谐发展的方式，期待为人类文明与自然环境的共创、共进提出创新思维。

Responding to the national call of "Belt and Road" co-development, the China-Africa Design Summit of Tongji Design Week is launched by Tongji University-College of Design and Innovation and Machakos University from Kenya, joined by Art and Design Schools from Africa and China. Through the forum, exhibition and workshop, the summit will offer a stage for experts and schools to share their opinion and practice of embrace the future with tradition, closely integrated with science and technology, and jointly sing the rhythm of co-innovative development.

As one of the mainforums of Tongji Design Week 2019; referring to our the China-Africa Design Summit' s theme "Tapping into the Nature Wisdom", we invite leading thinkers, researchers, practitioners, and educators to explore ways in which people and nature can develop harmoniously in regional traditions and how local wisdom inspire design and innovation by experts and projects from African and China. We look forward to your contribution to this discourse examining the critical challenges and exploring the opportunities presented by the technologies of today and tomorrow.
