The four-day event of 2016 First Cross-Strait Youth Maker Competition came to an end on August 1 at Tongji University College of Design and Innovation (D&I). After 48 hours of team discussion, modelling, and modification, it was finally time to harvest for 14 teams of 64 contestants from across the Taiwan Strait.
In the morning, the teams presented their works and then four judges gave their scores. In the following grand awarding ceremony, the enterprise awards, the first, second, and third prize were announced. CHEN Deming, Chairman of Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS), and LV Peiming, Vice President of Tongji University spoke highly of the contest and presented awards to the winning teams. The event was closed with group picture.
