On August 28, “2014 Shanghai Innovation Design Forum - Yangpu District National Innovation Urban Areas Development Stratety Conference” was held in Tongji University.

The Forum, themed “Design-Innovation-Beyond”, discussed the current status, trend and innovative development path of the design industry. LU Yongxiang, an academician of both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, was invited to make a keynote speech on “The Evolution of Design,Design 3.0”. LOU Yongqi, Dean of College of Design and Innovation, also made a speech on “Design Innovation and Regional Transformation in Knowledge and Network Economic Era”. He also shared the latest idea of design innovation in his speech.

More than 200 excellent designers and design representatives from home and abroad attended the Forum.
