Quacquarelli Symonds(QS) published World University Ranking by subject on March 21st. College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University(D&I) is ranked 34th in Art and Design. 

QS University Rankings is viewed as one of the most widely read university rankings. The QS World University Rankings by Subject highlights the world’s top universities in a range of popular subject areas, covering 42 subjects as of 2016. Published annually since 2011, the rankings are based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.

D&I has become one of the most internationally renowned colleges of design, ranking among the world’s leading design institutions. D&I is aiming to developing world class design education and research in the context of social, economic, technological and environmental changes. City of Shanghai, where D&I is located, is now implementing its Global Innovation City strategic plan.
