She Ji: The Journal of Design, Economics, and Innovation (She Ji) is online now!

Although you may find the status of the journal currently labeled “Corrected Proofs In Press” at ScienceDirect, the final version is right on the way. (Corrected proofs in press means articles that contain the authors’ corrections. Final citation details, e.g. volume and/or issue number, publication year and page numbers, still need to be added and the text might change before final publication.) The just published first issue of She Ji includes five articles, authored respectively by Richard Buchanan, Kees Dorst, Victor Margolin, Sharon Helmer Poggenpohl, and Patrick Whitney.

She Ji is an open-access, peer-reviewed, inter-disciplinary design journal. All articles are available online without charge to readers. The journal is owned by Tongji University and Tongji University Press, and published in cooperation with Elsevier B.V. For more information about She Ji, please visit the journal’s homepage:

For those who have obtained the paper copy of She Ji, you may wonder how come there is a time difference between the print copy and the final online copy of the journal. Please allow us to share a piece of information on this. The paper copy was produced by our editorial office, while the digital online copy needs to be produced by Elsevier production team, who is working hard on moving all the articles through their recently established new system. Like our editor-in-chief Ken said, the paper copy is the virtual version and the online copy is the real version of She Ji instead. For the following issues, we will synchronize both at a more balanced pace.
