Brief Introduction
Artist Chen Junkai has been continuously exploring and innovating in the fields of audiovisual art, interactive installations, and sound-and-light installations, committed to breaking through the boundaries of traditional artistic expression. His Harmony automated music installation project ingeniously integrates artificial intelligence with art, incorporating multidisciplinary practices across engineering, music, and design to create interactive musical installations and stage performance projects. His creative audiovisual artworks have been widely exhibited at renowned domestic and international art venues, including Le Fresnoy—Studio national des arts contemporains (France), Nuit Blanche (Paris), Pearl Art Museum, West Bund Museum, Shanghai Exhibition Center, and Shanghai Music Hall, earning high praise from both industry professionals and general audiences. He possesses extensive teaching experience in art and design, as well as strong art project management skills. He has repeatedly engaged in in-depth collaborations with leading technology companies both in China and abroad, successfully achieving effective integration and efficient transformation of industry, academia, research, and innovation. In terms of academic background, he obtained professional degrees from prestigious overseas art institutions or research organizations and accumulated substantial overseas research experience. These international perspectives have provided a solid theoretical foundation and a broad global vision for his artistic practice.
