Post-doctoral Researcher
Brief Introduction
Bian Yizhi graduated from the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University with a Ph.D. specializing in Urban Design. He has engaged in research and practical work related to urban design and community development in Brussels and Leuven, Belgium; Berlin, Munich, and Leipzig, Germany; and Boston, USA. Later, he pursued his Ph.D. at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, focusing on child-friendly urban design and the renewal of ecosystems for children's lives. He has held positions such as Director of the Child-Friendly Community Working Committee of the China Community Development Association and Secretary-General of the Beijing YoungZen Public Welfare Foundation. He has guided the construction of nearly a hundred child-friendly communities in multiple cities across China and organized the compilation of several national group standards, including the "Guidelines for the Construction of Child-Friendly Communities" and the "Guidelines for the Construction of 'Micro-Spaces' in Child-Friendly Communities." He has participated in numerous domestic and international projects and research topics, published several related academic papers, and was the first in the domestic academic community to propose the concept of a "Playable City," dedicated to creating a brighter future for children.
