Brief Introduction
Li Xin, Associate Professor at the Shanghai International College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University, Minister of Industry-Education Collaboration and Senior Engineer at Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning & Design Institute Co., Ltd., Deputy Director and Special Research Fellow at the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration Intelligent Planning Collaborative Innovation Center. Li Xin is also a visiting scholar at the University of Bremen, Germany. Previously, Li served as the Director of the Chief Planner’s Office for the Beijing City Sub-center and the Director of the Chief Planner’s Office for the Shanghai 2010 World Expo.
Associate Professor Li Xin has extensive experience in urban design practice and theoretical research. He has participated in numerous major national planning and design projects, completing over 160 planning and design tasks. He has received four first prizes, one second prize, and five third prizes in provincial and ministerial-level planning and design awards, as well as 21 international planning and design awards. Li Xin has led or participated in 15 research projects, with two research outcomes adopted by provincial and ministerial-level leaders.
