Assistant Professor (Probationary)
Brief Introduction
LIU Guanhong is a human-computer interaction researcher and designer with a dual background in both art and technology, as well as industry and academia. She is currently employed at Tongji University's College of Design and Innovation as an assistant professor. Liu Guanhong pursued her doctoral studies at the Academy of Arts and Design and the Future Lab at Tsinghua University. She completed her undergraduate and master's degrees at the School of Design at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, respectively.She has a passion for exploring new things and continuously advancing at the intersection of art and technology. In recent years, she has undertaken a series of research and creative projects from the perspective of integrating art, technology, and the humanities. This includes innovative digital design methods and practices for traditional craftsmanship and accessible interaction technologies for the visually impaired.She has published over ten papers at top international conferences in human-computer interaction (CHI, IMWUT), holds multiple patents, and has extensive exhibition experience. Her doctoral dissertation was recognized as an outstanding thesis at the Tsinghua Academy of Arts and Design. You can find her personal academic website at liuguanhong.com.
