SHI Yang
Associate Professor
Brief Introduction:
Yang Shi is an associate professor at the College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University. Yang's main research direction is human-computer interaction and information visualization. In the past 5 years, she has focused on exploring design methods for narrative visualization design methods. She is also the recipient of the Young Scientists Fund (2019-2021) by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Funded by the project, she published 4 CCF A papers (first author) and 1 CCF B paper (first author), and won 1 Best Paper Honorable Mention Award (IEEE PacificVis2018, first author) and 1 Best Paper Award (ChinaVis2020, corresponding author). Yang was also invited to serve as the poster chair of IEEE PacificVis 2020 and a committee member of IEEE PacificVis 2021, ChinaVis2018-2021, and IEEE/ACM ASONAM2019. In the follow-up research work, she will continue to apply artificial intelligence to narrative visualization.
