Brief Introduction:
Eun Ji Cho is an Associate Research Fellow of the College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University, China, where she teaches service design and design for social innovation, and serves as academic coordinator of the double degree program with KISD (Köln International School of Design). She received her Ph.D. in Design from Politecnico di Milano in Italy and MSc in Design for Interaction from TU Delft in the Netherlands. Prior to joining Tongji University, she worked at Hunan University as an assistant professor. Her main area of research is service design for social innovation, with a particular focus on social sustainability and service co-production. She has been a member of DESIS Network (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability) since 2010 and worked in DESIS international coordination team from 2010 to 2013. Her recent work includes the translation of Ezio Manzini’s book Design, When Everybody Designs: An Introduction to Design for Social Innovation (MIT press, 2015) into Korean (Ahn graphics, 2016).
