CHEN Qing

Assistant Professor

    Qing CHEN is currently an assistant professor at Tongji University, entitled in the Shanghai Oversea Talent Program. She received her B.Eng degree and PhD degree from Zhejiang University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology respectively. After graduation, she worked as a postdoc researcher at INRIA and Ecole Polytechnique. Her research interests lie in information visualization, visual analytics, human-computer interaction, online education, intelligent design and healthcare. She worked as the committee member of IEEE VIS/PacificVis/ChinaVis, and the session chair for IEEE VIS 2019. She has published over 10 scientific paper and posters with regard to visual analytics of large-scale education data (including top IEEE/ACM Conferences and Journal papers, JCR-Q1, CCF-A), being cited over 300 times on google scholar. She received several awards including HongKong ICT Best Innovation Silver Award, Asia Pacific ICT Awards, and was invited to give presentations at various international conferences. She is currently the principle investigator of a National Natural Science Funding and a university-industry collaboration project with AntV. She also worked as the key participants for several national project.
