WANG Jianmin

In June 2013, he was transferred to the College of Arts and Media, Tongji University. He has been included in Tongji University’s Youth Talent Program (High-level Talent Program). In 1998, he visited the University of North Texas in the United States. In August 1999, he began to work as a teacher at Sun Yat-sen University. He was granted the Special Teacher Allowance (associate professor) under Sun Yat-sen University’s Outstanding Talents Program (in 2010) and took part in the Young Teacher Cultivation & Innovation Project of Sun Yat-sen University (in 2010). He has obtained 35 patents for invention and applied for 5 international patents for invention and nearly 15 software copyrights. He has published more than 50 papers.

He has taken charge of dozens of cooperation projects of well-known enterprises at home and abroad, such as Huawei, Infinitus, China Telecom, Mitsubishi Electric’s Japan Design Center, Kingsoft, and Aerospace Research Institute.

Earned a master degree in Computational Mathematics from the School of Mathematics and Computational Science, Sun Yat-sen University in 1999;

Earned a bachelor’s degree in Computational Mathematics form the Department of Mathematics, Nankai University in 1996;
