课程简介
AIGC 工具为创意生成过程带来了巨大变化。利用人工智能,通过用户输入的关键词或要求来辅助或替代人工生成内容。数字绘图过程从 "搜索和优化 "演变为 "问询和调整"。
本课程在了解文本、图像、视频、音乐等AIGC 工具的基础上,创建物理界面以实现各小组在项目中提出的综合应用场景。整个过程旨在提出一种与 AIGC 工具交互的新方式,以创建基于"情境"的生成内容。话题期望进行后续研究和进一步发展。
开放设计2023课程由同济大学设计创意学院李何槿教授和校外导师许沐瀚共同授课,共32名硕士研究生参加。课程成果将于12月10日-12月24日在鱼缸报告厅门口展出,届时欢迎各位前来参观。
AIGC Tools brought a big change to the creative content creation process. AIGC uses artificial intelligence to assist or replace manual content generation by user-inputted keywords or requirements. The main change is from “search” and “optimize" the digital drawing process to “ask and adjust”.
This course was aimed at learning various AIGC tools to generate text, images, video, music, etc. first. Then, to create a physical interface to achieve a comprehensive use case that each team created. This entire process is to suggest the possibility of a new way of interacting with AIGC tools to create “context” based content. Hopefully, this effort can be continuously researched and developed further.
Open Design (开放设计) 2023 course was taught by Hyejin LEE(李何槿) and Ryan XU(许沐瀚) for 32 graduate students in College of Design & Innovation at Tongji University. The course exhibition will be on show during Dec. 10-Dec. 24 at D&I. Welcome to visit.

我们小组的作品名为TADA Cube,我们将人工智能设计与儿童玩具相结合,希望通过这个作品为儿童提供更好的游戏体验并培养他们的想象力。每个TADA Cube有三块显示屏,其中两个为由Midjourney 生成的AI图像,第三个屏幕始终处于休眠状态,不展示任何内容。通过将两个魔方相叠加,屏幕上的两个图像组合在一起,构成了更丰富的画面内容。这样一来,孩子们能够快速地学习并熟悉AIGC,和AI共同创造作品。这个玩具可以给孩子提供独特的想象体验,鼓励孩子们保持好奇心、培养想象力和创造力,创造一个孩子们的王国。
Introducing the TADA Cubes, an innovative way to enrich children's play and imagination by seamlessly integrating AI-generated content.
Each cube features three screens, two of which are active and display captivating AI-generated images, powered by Midjourney. The third screen remains inactive. By stacking one cube on top of another, the images on the screens blend together, creating a construct with fusions of visuals. The result – a co-creation by child and AI.
In that way we want to enable kids to explore and get familiar with AIGC in an effortless way. Encouraging curiosity, imagination and creativity by unique and imaginative experiences. Ultimately unlocking new worlds.

MEMORia is an audio remixing device that blends artificial intelligence with the nostalgic sounds of everyday life into musical memories. It envisions a compact and user-friendly device that empowers individuals to craft unique and personalized audio experiences.

MEMORia是基于AIGC工具的声音收集和混音设备,包含录音设备和混音设备两部分。录音设备轻巧便携,只需按下顶部的按钮即可开始录音,最多可存储 15 个声音片段,存储额满后会提示用户开始混音。混音设备上有三个旋钮,分别控制“音乐类型”、“节奏”和“音高”。用户选择录制的声音片段后,运用AIVA、SOUNDRAW等AI音乐生成工具进行混合,并根据自己的喜好调节节奏、音高和音乐类型,生成用户专属的音乐记忆。用户可以把生成的音乐下载到电脑上,制作成为个性化的音乐专辑。
The MEMORia team wanted to create an AIGC tool independent from the screen which most AIGC tools are currently dependent on. That is how the idea of a portable MEMORia device, designed specifically for audio collection and remixing came to life.
The Memoria device consists of two parts – one allowing you to record and collect sounds from your surroundings, and the other to generate your own music memory collection by combining your recordings with your remix input. (For a more detailed demonstration, watch the accompanying video.)

Using advanced AIGC technology, the "Be My 'Gods'" project offers personalized mental health experiences for urban youth. Through interactive voice sessions, we create unique prayer characters and generate customized guardian images based on palmistry data. Unlike traditional methods, we provide real-time, innovative support tailored to modern anxieties. The project aims to deliver personalized mental well-being, offering a unique sanctuary for urban youth in a tech-driven world. Leveraging AIGC tools such as ChatGPT, Character AI, Midjourney, we achieve voice interaction with users, create personalized prayer characters, and provide highly individualized, innovative, and deeply engaging therapeutic experiences.

“时空折叠博物馆”系统运用AIGC技术给中国国家博物馆赋予了新的生命力。该系统包含“回声球”和“文物时空混合器”两个设备。游客可使用“回声球”抓取各类文物,并通过该球与被AI赋予了人格的文物交谈。游览结束时,游客可以在“文物时空混合器”中以上帝视角观察来自不同时空的文物折叠在同一空间时产生的新故事,并可以干预他们。项目运用Chatgpt、Character AI、Midjourney等AIGC工具,旨在用AI赋予文物灵性并让其产生互动,让历史鲜活有趣起来。
The "Time Folding Museum" system uses AIGC technology to breathe new life into the National Museum of China. This system includes two devices: the "Echo Ball" and the "Mix Monitor". Visitors can use the "Echo Ball" to capture various artifacts and converse with them, now personified by AI. At the end of the tour, visitors can observe new stories created when artifacts from different times and spaces are folded into the same space, through a "god-view" in the "Mix Monitor", and they can intervene. The project uses AIGC tools such as ChatGPT, Character AI, and Midjourney, with the aim of endowing artifacts with spirit and interactivity through AI, making history come alive and interesting.

儿童和玩具玩耍时,经常会在脑海中演绎许多童话,但是受限于知识和表达能力有限,他们无法将自己心中的想法展现出来。
为了赋能儿童的想象力,我们希望给予玩具更多形态甚至情绪,AIGC工具在这里接收儿童的灵感碎片,然后通过图片视频生成技术将想象世界直观呈现。
我们使用了放置、贴纸、插卡这些契合儿童玩耍时的自然的互动方式,将功能点集中于一个游戏操作台上。让儿童能更好地生成自己的童话,同时理解到“输入-输出”的AIGC逻辑。
When children play with toys, they often weave many fairy tales in their minds.However, limited by knowledge and limited expressive abilities, they struggle toshowcase the ideas in their hearts.
To empower children's imagination, we aim to give toys more forms and evenemotions. The AlGC tool plays a role in receiving fragments of inspiration fromchildren, and then, through image and video generation techniques, visually presentstheir imaginative worlds.
We utilize placement, stickers, and card insertion-natural interactive methods durinochildren's play. These functionalities are centralized on a gaming console, allowingchildren to better create their own fairy tales while understanding the input-outputlogic of AIGC.

Gifted Gift is an application specifically designed for shopping scenarios, utilizing AIGC to assist users in effortlessly selecting gifts and customizing uniquely tailored gift wrapping paper. In today's fast-paced social milieu, individuals often find themselves ensnared in the dilemma of bestowing the perfect gift. Gifted Gift employs interactive modalities such as voice, gestures, and projections to guide users in articulating narratives about themselves and the gift recipient. Subsequently, leveraging AIGC, the application recommends appropriate gifts, extracts visual elements associated with emotional memories, and generates bespoke gift wrapping paper. This process not only serves a decorative purpose but also becomes a tangible embodiment of cherished memories and emotional nuances.
