“Research on the Inheritance and Innovation of the Chinese System of Craftsman Culture”, initiated by Professor ZOU Qichang of D&I, was listed as one of the projects supported by National Social Science Foundation last year. It is the first Major Program of National Social Science Foundation in the field of Design discipline of Shanghai. 

This project greatly contributed to the Category IV Peak Discipline Construction Program, which is a key higher education and research development agenda of Shanghai. 

TheProject Proposal Seminar was held on January 14, 2017, which about 50 scholars from China’s key universities attended.
